The main cruise terminal in Willemstad, the Mega Pier, is located in the Otrobanda district, directly adjacent to the city's historic center. It is a very short walk, approximately 5-10 minutes, to the famous Queen Emma Bridge, which connects to the Punda neighborhood.
Due to this close proximity, exploring the main sights is easily done on foot, and shuttles are generally not necessary. The port area itself is part of the Renaissance Mall & Rif Fort, which features numerous shops and restaurants within a historic setting. Ships almost always dock directly at one of the piers, making tendering a rare occurrence.
