Further afield, the resort town of Playa Blanca on the southern tip of the island is approximately a 40-minute drive. For a more rustic adventure, you can travel to the north of the island and take a short ferry to the tranquil and unspoiled island of La Graciosa, a perfect escape from the crowds.

Cruise ships dock at the Muelle de Cruceros (La Marmola terminal) in Arrecife. The terminal is situated approximately 3-4 kilometers (about 2 miles) from the main city center and beach area, making it a long walk.
