History enthusiasts shouldn't miss the Ġgantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring megalithic structures that predated the Egyptian Pyramids, reachable in approximately 15 minutes by taxi or bus.

Nature lovers can venture 20 minutes across the island to Dwejra Bay, famous for the picturesque Inland Sea and dramatic rock formations ideal for coastal boat tours.

The island capital of Victoria, situated just 6 kilometers inland, is the cultural heart of Gozo with vibrant squares and winding historic streets.

The coastal village of Xlendi lies 8 kilometers from Mġarr and is renowned for its steep fjord-like bay and waterside seafood restaurants.
