A short 20-minute drive from the port brings visitors to the stunning St. Aloysius Chapel, famous for its intricate interior frescoes reminiscent of Europe's Sistine Chapel. Another highlight is the iconic Kudroli Gokarnath Temple (Gokarnanatheshwara Temple), a grand Hindu shrine illuminated brilliantly during festivals, located about 25 minutes away. History enthusiasts can visit Sultan Battery, an 18th-century watchtower built by Tipu Sultan, or relax at nearby Panambur Beach, just 10 minutes from the cruise docks.

About 60 kilometers north of the port lies the holy town of Udupi, famous for its Krishna Temple and traditional South Indian vegetarian cuisine, reachable in about 90 minutes.
